General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018. The GDPR imposes stricter rules in terms of how we may collect, use and store personal data. The committee members of The Fields Association are required to collect and use personal data in administering the club’s duties.
1.What information do we collect about you
When you join as a member of SWAP (The Fields Association) we collect only the information required from you to be able to fulfil our obligations to you as a member.
2.How the information about you will be used.
By signing the membership application form, you agree for your information to be used to contact you regarding events, promotions and newsletters.
3.Where and how your data is stored.
All details are stored on a computer record held by Membership Secretary (swapmembership@outlook.com), Treasurer (swaptreasury@outlook.com) and website administrators and are protected by password and Norton Internet Security, or such similar security software.
4.Who we may share your data with.
Some data may need to be shared with third parties, this is only where necessary to fulfil legal obligations or to execute data uses as outlined in section 2. Any partners or service providers we work with will be legally required to adhere to GDPR regulations.
5.Who can view your data
Your data can only be viewed, and used, by SWAP (The Fields Association) committee members in carrying out the activities of the association. Your data is not shared with any other persons or organisations, other than those mentioned in section 4.
6.Individual Rights
You have the right to change your details or have them removed from our records, in which case please contact the Membership Secretary (swapmembership@outlook.com). You may also request a copy of the information that SWAP (The Fields Association) holds about you.
